Irish Organic Herbs have now relocated to the Food Hub, Drumshanbo
a “state of the art” food centre, in the Greenbox
ecotourist area. This region is still a pristine, unspoilt environment.
Herbs grown on organic farms in the region will be free from
harmful contaminants, found in other parts of Europe. This is
essential for health giving traditional remedies. Irish Organic
Herbs will develope new products like teas, aromatherapy oils
and natural cosmetics from locally grown herbs. Selected organically
certified farms will become satellite producers of herbs which
will be processed at the Food Hub.
