The knowledge of commercial field-scale production of medicinal
plants in Ireland was very limited 10 years ago. Following
preliminary research, Irish Organic Herbs pioneered small
growing trials of selected medicinal herbs, in the late 1990s.
A company programme of R&D on medicinal plants and their
uses and benefits, has been ongoing since then.
Enterprise Ireland has designated Irish Organic herbs as
a High Potential Start Up with large export led sales growth
potential.
The company’s herbal tinctures have gradually become
available countrywide since 2004. We offer a range of 12 single
herb tinctures and 4 herbal tincture blends.
These are available through Health Food stores and selected
Pharmacies around the country.
The Company’s objective is to supply high-quality product
in a manner that is environmentally friendly, socially positive,
and sustainable.
Our philosophy is to offer the highest quality organically
certified herbal products through marrying traditional herbalism
with the latest scientific research.
